My route to garden design is unconventional. I graduated in Electrical and Electronic engineering and had a successful career in telecoms engineering and sales. After starting my family I looked for new opportunities that would fit well around my young family and subsequently set up a cake business, supplying celebration cakes and running decorating classes.

 

I continued this creative streak combining an interest in gardening, a love of design and a desire to apply myself.  This ultimately resulted in me completing a diploma in garden design at Capel Manor College.

 

Garden design is a good way to combine my problem solving skills, attention to detail and creativity and nurture my passion linking the outdoors and mental wellbeing.
